Kira Aitch is a writer and sensitivity reader currently studying library science and information to become either a school or research librarian. When she is not reading or in classes, she is writing research papers and browsing databases for fun.

She especially loves helping writers if details and facts and will not hesitate to compile a source list if necessary. Given enough time, she can compile a list of sources or even a paper on everything from the Vikings to mythology to the history of corn. She is more than happy to help with research!

She will give you more information than necessary for those who love historical accuracy, context, or just every version of a myth possible. She also will compile current news sources or even scientific papers when necessary, as she has paid for and gained access to journals and databases for her own enjoyment, and loves to share that with others.

Kira loves reading fantasy, historical fiction, and adventure, but finds that a good book can come from any source. She’s also happy to read any LGBTQIA+ fiction you have!

What Clients Say

From start to finish the process was smooth and professional. It’s very clear how much time and energy Kira spent on constructing feedback, and I am beyond grateful for it. I would 100% recommend Salt & Sage and I hope to work with them again on my next book!

Everyone, including the managers, were professional, polite, and available to answer questions. The feedback was helpful and gave me greater confidence in how to proceed with my projects. I was always intimidated by the idea of working with a sensitivity reader but now I would recommend it for anyone looking to have a better understanding of how their work can reach and affect the communities around them.
